Most of you know I got a Rampage Formula recently. Well now I've got a 4870x2 coming for it. That is all.

I can give you pics from dude but it's not here yet, so I guess it didn't happen yet.

I'm pretty sure its the Maximus Formula that has a 1 and 2 version, this is the regular rampage formula X48

It happened. And fuck whoever at visiontek decided including 2 6 pin to molex adaptors and no 6 pin or molex to 8 pin adapter was a good idea. this thing has ONE 6 pin and ONE 8 pin and you need both for it to work. So I'm waiting for my TX850 that should be here later today.

So I finally started putting together the new case now that I have new parts. Some pictures for your viewing enjoyment, I'll update the thread when I get some more work done. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get my Swiftech bolt kits so I can put the water blocks on the 4870x2 and get going on putting all the water cooling in.

Looks sexy so far

Are you reusing your WC parts or did you get all new stuff for this one?

Also, about how much does building a WC loop cost? I just want to know.

The heatsink and water blocks for the video card are new, everything else is the stuff I had. You can get a decent kit for like 250 bucks to start into water cooling. Swiftechs H20-220 series are pretty good, this actually started out as a H20-220 Apex kit then I swapped the radiator for a thermochill PA120.3 and added the GPU cooling. Petras and a few other places also sell custom kits made from various good manufacturers parts. Avoid crap like the thermaltake big water and koolance kits, they suck. Danger Den, Swiftech, EK and a few others make most of the good stuff for water cooling.

Some updates, and the 4870x2 screw kits for the mcw60-rs suck ass, they're the bolts that hold the water blocks together tapped out for another screw to go up inside of them. Half the bolts I got were like warped and didn't thread in for shit.

Yeah I hope that happened jeez, isn't happy enough with the standard 4870x2 he had to water cool it. If it wasn't enough with the awesome case, ub3r mobo, cpu & cooling, ram, PSU and HDD's he had to break ma <3 once moar with a 4870x2 :[
