either the resolution or the refresh rate is set too high for the monitor to be able to display.

We won again

http://www.forumwars.us/

I had the 2nd fastest Q6600, 5th highest overclock %, and highest score of anyone in my class (D). Oh and I won something from Cooler Master, but I haven't gotten it yet and its a "surprise" gift. All the details are on the site, I haven't been on steam much lately, and won't be for at least a day or two more, but I know you asked if we won.

Yay all done, got some Lian Li extras (the intake fan bay thing, dvd cover and floppy cover and some black thumbscrews for the back). Also removed the door it originally had cuz you have to open it every time to turn the thing on and it was killing the airflow since all the intakes are on the front (it had holes in the sides but my temps are much better now)

It's a "Rocketfish" best buy case, but it's actually just a high end Lian Li with the rocketfish name stuck on it for best buy. It doesn't match any exact Lian Li, but if you look at their high end full towers it's pretty similar to most of them. It even says on the boxes "made by Lian Li" lol. It was like 250 bucks or some shit but they didn't sell that well so they closed them out for like 50 some odd dollars which is when I drove across town to get one.

GPU, 3dmark05 and up started to take advantage of more CPU power (Quads with similar graphics will destroy duals in 06 unless the duals are clocked to the moon comparatively)

The monolith is done.

First pic is leak testing, then a couple shots as I finished the assembly...

And yeah, kinda sucks after all that work I forgot to get a backplate for the MB... Asus didn't have any in stock when I started last week but they do now... Guess that'll have to go in first time it gets serviced...

So much for that, I took the screws back out of one block to check it and then found that the main screws the small ones thread into were stripped out so I'm stuck waiting for a replacement kit that will be here Friday hopefully.

No they include extra screws thankfully so I had enough good ones to put the thing together.

Some updates, and the 4870x2 screw kits for the mcw60-rs suck ass, they're the bolts that hold the water blocks together tapped out for another screw to go up inside of them. Half the bolts I got were like warped and didn't thread in for shit.

It may be possible, are you using less than the maximum multiplier right now? Typically it reports a higher speed when your using below the top multiplier because some older programs just multiply the fsb x the max multiplier rather than the one you're actually using.

Those fans should be pretty good with a fan controller, I think they're a little loud at full speed though. I have the SM version which is 70.5 cfm for my radiator, they seemed quiet hooked up outside my case but I haven't tried them attached to the radiator yet.

The heatsink and water blocks for the video card are new, everything else is the stuff I had. You can get a decent kit for like 250 bucks to start into water cooling. Swiftechs H20-220 series are pretty good, this actually started out as a H20-220 Apex kit then I swapped the radiator for a thermochill PA120.3 and added the GPU cooling. Petras and a few other places also sell custom kits made from various good manufacturers parts. Avoid crap like the thermaltake big water and koolance kits, they suck. Danger Den, Swiftech, EK and a few others make most of the good stuff for water cooling.
